Meet the Team.

Seungmin Oh Profile Picture

Seungmin Oh

Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science, Master of Physiotherapy

Seungmin’s interest in physiotherapy started after going through his own ACL rehab and subsequent smaller injuries.

As a physio, Seungmin realises the privileged position physios are in - being a part of an individuals journey from injury to either return to sport or to just have the ability to perform daily activities. He understands that everyone is unique in their own way and strives to tailor a individualised program to each person. Through his own experiences, he realises the importance of a physio in not only helping people restore physical function through education and exercise, but also reassuring individuals to keep a positive state of mind.

During his free time, Seungmin enjoys playing OzTag, watching the mighty Brisbane Broncos, going to the gym and has recently taken up the extremely frustrating sport of golf!

Kim Hopkinson

Bachelor of Health Science (Human Movement), Master of Physiotherapy

Kim has been working on the Northern Beaches since she graduated in 2016 and has extensive experience in treating a variety of different conditions. She loves seeing how physiotherapy can help with making meaningful change to someone’s function – whether recovering from acute injuries, preventing recurrence of injuries, or even just helping someone return to movements they haven’t done in years!

Kim loves supporting the community through providing physio for various sporting teams, caring for the environment, and eating sustainably.

In her spare time, she can be found in the wilderness – exercising or picnicking at any of the amazing parks and beaches on the Northern Beaches.

Phil Leung Profile Picture

Phil Leung

Bachelor of Health Science (Human Movement), Master of Physiotherapy

Phil loves being a physio. He’s passionate about treating all injuries (not just the sporty ones!), especially looking at how to shape rehabilitation for prevention. He enjoys assessing the entire biomechanical chain to determine the best avenue to prevent potential re-injury.

Through over a decade of sporting and physio experiences from local club to the international stage, he has built an understanding of the struggles with wanting to return back to sport as early as possible, and the importance of prevention for further re-injury.

When not treating, Phil mentors other physiotherapists and physiotherapy students, provides inservices and training to personal trainers, loves exploring different countries with his wife, is working on doing more around the house (haha), and enjoys the occasional trip to the snow.
